Overview:
Lima One Capital is utilizing MOSS to revolutionize their mortgage origination process. In November of 2021 Lima One Capital and 3N Performance began building a series of workbenches with the vision of completely modernizing the interaction between employees, brokers, borrowers and all other parties when participating in originating and servicing a loan. Through this project 3N Performance continue quest to build tooling that would obfuscate the short comings and poor UI of the LOS and other systems with a best-in-class platform containing fit for purpose workbenches to support various personas that interact with the loan throughout its lifecycle.
The Challenge: outdated technology and processes
Lima One Capital was facing significant operational challenges as it grew. It’s current Point of Sale solution was outdated and did not handle many of their base use cases, which resulted in a wide variety of manual process workarounds. Those manual processes were creating inefficiencies that hindered productivity and growth.
Adding to the complexity, the company aimed to launch a new channel—Lender Finance—a table funding channel which required the capability to manage different sites and tailored customer experiences for each new Lender Finance partner. These combined challenges highlighted an urgent need for modernization and strategic digital transformation.
The Solution: New Employee, Broker and Borrower workbench – MOSS from 3N Performance
To address these challenges, Lima One turned to 3N Performance Partners for a new Point of Sale system. 3N Performance introduced their MOSS product, and delivered a version specifically designed to support the Lender Finance channel through its multi-tenant architecture and environment-specific customization and management features.
Building on this foundation, Lima One and 3N Performance worked together on a tailored version of the MOSS product to serve its broader business needs. This included integrations with industry-standard software such as Stripe, Credco, and DocuSign, as well as proprietary systems unique to the organization. Now, Lima One has a modern point of sale solution for their Borrowers, Brokers, and their Loan Officers – enabling a scalable, efficient, and future-ready solution.

The Future:
Lima One now has a modern technology suite to make them competitive in the current market. Customers no longer have to email documents over or wait on their Loan Officer for a quote. MOSS enables all of their customers to log in, quote themselves, and submit loan applications to Lima One. As a result, Lima One’s SOPs have substantially changed to accommodate the new automations and new data they didn’t have before, and scalability to pave the way for their future.
